Typefaces

Overview

Our typography balances clarity, credibility, and humanity. Hanken Grotesk provides a modern, highly functional foundation that reflects our science-based approach and focuses on impact. Noto Serif adds warmth and humanity, balancing rational thinking with emotional connection.

Usage

  • Hanken Grotesk is bold, confident, and highly functional. Use it for headlines, subheads, body copy, captions, charts, and graphs. Its clean design remains highly readable at small sizes.
  • Noto Serif conveys warmth and personality. Use it for short headlines, subheads, and occasional emphasis on short phrases or sentences (12 words or 150 characters or fewer).
  • Do not use Noto Serif for large blocks of copy or set it in all caps.

Fonts

Both Hanken Grotesk and Noto Serif offer large font families with multiple weights and italics. For general use, Regular, SemiBold, Bold, and Black are the preferred fonts. Both typefaces are open-source and available through Google Fonts.
